What do tour operators get working with Triways?
A ground operator in Egypt for the programmes you package and sell: hotels, Nile cruises, transport, guiding and arrivals arranged under one contract, for private FIT journeys and groups alike.
One Egyptian team runs every departure on the ground. Terms are agreed when we contract, on the basis that suits your business.

What Operators Get
You build the product and sell it. We make it work in Egypt, departure after departure.
One contract for the ground
Hotels, Nile cruises, vehicles, guides and airport handling come from one ground operator, under one contract and one set of terms, rather than a supplier for each. Capabilities names what sits behind it.
Terms agreed for your business
The rate basis, payment, release and cancellation terms are agreed when we contract, on the basis that suits how you package and sell. Ask for our operator terms.
Your programme, your brand
Triways works with the travel trade only. Your clients travel on your programme and meet our team as the people delivering it; we do not sell to them.
Series & FIT Capacity
A private FIT journey, a group, or the same itinerary every fortnight of the season.
FIT journeys are private and individual, each shaped to its travellers. Groups travel on one programme, with rooms, coaches and guides held together; see Group Travel Planning. A series is the same itinerary on recurring departures through a season.
For a series, send the season plan: the departures, the expected group sizes and the itinerary. We will confirm what can be held for each departure, and on what terms, before you commit to selling it.

The Red Sea stays in demand
The season
Egypt’s main season for the Nile Valley runs through the cooler months, roughly October to April, with the Christmas, New Year and Easter periods busiest of all. The summer is quieter in Luxor and Aswan, while the Red Sea stays in demand. Rates and availability follow that shape.
Rates by season
Ground rates are usually contracted by season, and hotels and cruises often price peak dates on their own. A programme that crosses season boundaries is costed on the dates it actually travels.
Allotments
An allotment is space, such as rooms or cabins, held for an operator’s departures so that it can be sold without checking availability each time. It is agreed per property and per season.
Release dates
Unsold space in an allotment is released back to the hotel or vessel at an agreed point before arrival. The release date is the operator’s deadline to fill it or let it go, and one of the most important lines in the contract.
Changes and cancellations
Name changes, reductions in group size and cancellations each have their own terms, which are set out at contracting rather than discovered later.
This is how contracting typically works in Egypt. Triways’ own terms are set out in your contract; ask for our operator terms.
Operational Reliability
The tenth departure of the season should run like the first.
Every departure is run by the same Egyptian team, with one point of contact for your operations desk and support 24/7 while your travellers are in Egypt. Changes, from a cancelled flight to a closed site, are re-planned on the ground and reported to you with the new plan. On-Ground Operations sets out how, and Egypt DMC describes the full service.
Triways is part of a wider Egyptian travel network and works alongside its sister company, Planet Tours.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does Triways offer net rates or only retail/commission pricing?
Commercial terms for tour operators, including the rate basis, are agreed when we contract. Tell us how you price and sell Egypt, and we will set out our operator terms on that basis.
Can Triways handle recurring series departures across a full season?
Send us the season plan: the departures, the expected group sizes and the itinerary. We will confirm what can be held for each departure, and on what terms, before you commit to selling it.
What's the contracting process for a new tour operator relationship?
Four steps: you tell us about your business and the Egypt you sell; we agree terms; you meet the team that will handle your programmes and we settle how requests and communication run; then your departures are booked and delivered on the ground. See How Partnership Works.
What's the difference between an incoming tour operator and a DMC?
The terms overlap. An incoming (inbound) tour operator handles the ground for travellers arriving from abroad, often on packaged or series programmes. A destination management company does that and more, drawing on local expertise to design tailor-made journeys, events and MICE programmes. Triways is a DMC, and works as the incoming ground operator behind tour operators’ programmes.
Will our brand stay in front of our clients?
Yes. Triways works with the travel trade only and does not sell to your clients directly. They travel on your programme; our team delivers it on the ground.
