Egypt DMC & Ground Partnership

What is a ground partnership?

For international DMCs, global agency networks and operators outside Egypt: Triways delivers your programme on the ground in Egypt. The itinerary, the client and the promise are yours; the operation is ours.

The other partner pages are for professionals who sell Egypt through us. This one is for peers who need a team in Egypt to carry what they have already sold.

Booking Through a DMC, or Partnering With One

Both are common in Egypt. They answer different needs, and it helps to be clear which one you are asking for.

You sell our journeys.

Booking through a DMC

  • The DMC designs the journey from your client’s brief
  • You present its proposal to your client
  • For advisors, designers and operators selling Egypt

  • Your itinerary and standards, delivered on the ground

Your programme, carried

Sub-Contracted Delivery

You send the programme. We deliver it in Egypt as you wrote it, and tell you when the ground changes it.

  • Your itinerary, not ours

We work from your day-by-day programme and your service standards. Where something on the ground argues for a change, a closure, a timing or a better hotel for the dates, we propose it to you first rather than changing it quietly.

  • Your client relationship

Triways works with the travel trade only and does not sell to your clients. They contracted with you and they stay with you; our team meets them as the people delivering your programme.

  • How we present

The names used on arrival signage, vouchers and documents, and how our guides and representatives introduce themselves, are agreed in the partnership contract, programme by programme if you need it.

  • What sits behind it

Arrivals and departures, transport, hotels and Nile ships, guiding and on-ground coordination, under one contract. Egypt DMC describes the full service.

Operational Standards & Reliability

A partner DMC is lending us its reputation. The standards below are the ones we are held to.

  • Standing

    A Licensed Company

Triways operates under Licence No. 2048, with 39 years of operation, and works alongside its sister company, Planet Tours.

  • Road

    Licensed Drivers, Insured Vehicles

Chauffeurs are licensed and vehicles are insured, matched to the size of each party. Private Transportation names the vehicle types.

  • Contact

    One Point of Contact, 24/7

Your operations desk has one contact for the programme, and support is available around the clock while your travellers are in Egypt.

  • Reporting

Changes Reported, With the New Plan

A cancelled flight or a closed site is re-planned on the ground and reported to you with what has been done, so you can speak to your client before they call you. On-Ground Operations shows how.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between booking through a DMC and partnering with one as a ground operator?

When you book through a DMC, you sell its journeys to your clients. When you partner with one as a ground operator, it delivers your own programme in the country, on your itinerary and to your standards, and you remain the company your clients contracted with.

Can Triways operate under our brand rather than its own?

Triways works with the travel trade only and does not sell to your clients, so they travel on your programme. How our team presents to them, including the names used on signage and documents, is agreed in the partnership contract.

What geographic coverage across Egypt can Triways guarantee?

Fourteen places across three regions: Cairo, Luxor, Aswan and Abu Simbel in the Nile Valley; Hurghada, Sharm El Sheikh, Safaga, Marsa Alam, Dahab and Taba on the Red Sea coast; Alexandria, Siwa Oasis, Marsa Matrouh and the White Desert on the Mediterranean and in the desert. Before you contract, we confirm how each part of your programme is delivered.

How does Triways handle liability and quality control for sub-contracted programmes?

Triways operates under Licence No. 2048. Chauffeurs are licensed and vehicles are insured. Every programme has one point of contact and 24/7 support while travellers are in Egypt, and any change on the ground is reported to you with the new plan. Responsibility for each service is set out in the partnership contract.
