The OperationOn-ground operations in Egypt

How does ground coordination work for a complex Egypt itinerary?

Egypt DMC describes what Triways offers. This page is the execution behind it: how an itinerary is actually carried out on the ground, day by day, while your clients are in Egypt.

One team holds the suppliers, the movements and the timings as one programme, follows it while it runs, and solves problems before your client meets them.

What this page covers

Execution, Not the Service Description

Any DMC can list what it offers. What protects your client is how the list is carried out.

The Egypt DMC page answers the first question a travel professional asks: what Triways arranges, for whom, how an engagement works and where we operate. This page answers the second: once the proposal is confirmed and your client lands, what actually happens to make the itinerary work.

Most of it your client never sees. That is the point. The measure of an operation is how little of it reaches the client, and how much of it reaches you when it matters.

What Happens Behind the Itinerary

By the time your client reaches each part of the journey, the work behind it has already been done. Four kinds of work, running all the time.

  1. Suppliers as one programme

    Coordination

Hotels, vessels, vehicles, guides, venues and restaurants are confirmed against one programme, and each knows who is arriving, when and where. When one part changes, every part it touches is changed with it, not left to catch up.

  2. Every transition sequenced

    Timing

Flight to transfer, transfer to check-in, check-in to the guide at the door. Each handover is timed, and the days that depend on something outside anyone’s control, such as a flight or a site’s opening hours, are given room.

  3. The alternative, ready

    Contingency

The questions are asked before the journey starts: what if this flight slips, this site closes, this vehicle is delayed? The answer is ready before it is needed, so a change reaches your client as a plan, not a problem.

  4. Followed as it happens

    Watching it run

Movements are followed while they happen, by a team in Egypt, with support 24/7. The people who know the programme are the people who pick up the phone.

One team, start to finish

Personally Accountable

The team that planned the journey is the team that runs it.

There is no handover from a sales desk to an operations desk your client has never heard of. One team is responsible for the journey from the brief to the farewell, with one point of contact for you and for your client throughout. When something changes, you are told by someone who already knows the programme.

  5. Farewell

  1. A domestic flight is cancelled the night before.

Behind the scenesThe alternative, by air or by road, is put in place, and the hotels, the transfers and the guide either side are re-timed to it.

What you hearOne message: what changed, and the new plan.

  2. A group lands on three different flights.

Behind the scenesEach flight is met on its own, vehicles are sized to each arrival, and the hotel holds the rooms for the last one in.

What you hearThat the group is together, and settled.

  3. Your client asks to change tomorrow.

Behind the scenesThe day is re-sequenced with the guide, the vehicle and any bookings it touches, and the rest of the journey is checked against it.

What you hearThat it is done, and what, if anything, it changes.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between this page and the Egypt DMC services page?

The Egypt DMC page describes the service: what Triways arranges for travel professionals, how an engagement works and where we operate. This page describes the execution behind it: how the itinerary is carried out on the ground while your clients are travelling.

What happens if something goes wrong on the ground during a trip?

The team in Egypt deals with it as it happens, with support 24/7. Alternatives are prepared before they are needed, so a change is re-planned with the hotels, vehicles and guides affected, and your client hears a new plan rather than a problem. You are told when a change affects your client.

Who is our point of contact while clients are travelling?

One point of contact at Triways, for you and for your client, from arrival to departure. The team that planned the journey is the team that runs it.

Is the operation run from Egypt?

Yes. Triways is an Egyptian company based in Cairo, and the team that runs the journey is in Egypt with your clients.
